You’ll track rhinos at Ziwa Sanctuary, experience game drives and a Nile boat cruise in Murchison Falls, trek chimpanzees in Kibale, spot tree-climbing lions in Queen Elizabeth, meet mountain gorillas in Bwindi, and unwind at scenic Lake Bunyonyi before departing through Kigali.
DAY BY DAY ACTIVITIES
Day 1: Entebbe – Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary – Murchison Falls National Park
After an early morning breakfast at your hotel in Entebbe/Kampala, you’ll meet your driver-guide for a briefing and depart north through Kampala to Murchison Falls National Park. You’ll stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for an exciting rhino trekking experience before continuing to Masindi for lunch. Later, you’ll visit the Top of Murchison Falls to witness the Nile thundering through a narrow 7-meter gorge. You’ll proceed to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. Accommodation at Pakuba Safari Lodge or similar.

Day 3: Murchison Falls – Scenic Drive to Kibale National Park
After breakfast, you’ll depart for Kibale National Park through scenic landscapes of tea plantations, rolling hills, and traditional villages. You’ll enjoy photo stops en route before arriving at your lodge near the forest. You’ll spend the evening relaxing and preparing for the chimpanzee trek the following day. Your accommodation will be at Chimpanzee Forest Lodge or similar.

Day 4: Kibale NP – Chimpanzee Trekking – Queen Elizabeth NP
You’ll begin the day with a briefing at the Kibale visitor center before entering the rainforest for an unforgettable chimpanzee trekking experience. You’ll observe them feeding, grooming, and socializing in their natural habitat. After lunch, you’ll drive south to Queen Elizabeth National Park, famous for its abundant wildlife and beautiful scenery. Your accommodation at Bush Lodge or similar.

Day 5: Queen Elizabeth NP – Ishasha Tree Lions – Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
You’ll enjoy an early breakfast and drive through the Ishasha sector in search of the famous tree-climbing lions resting in fig trees. You’ll continue south through scenic landscapes to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to nearly half of the world’s mountain gorillas. Relax and prepare for your gorilla trekking adventure. Day 6: Bwindi NP – Gorilla Trekking – Lake Bunyonyi
After breakfast, you’ll report to the ranger station for a gorilla trekking briefing. Venture into the forest to track a gorilla family, spending a remarkable hour observing their behavior. The trek may last 2–10 hours, depending on their movements. Afterward, you’ll drive to Lake Bunyonyi, renowned for its tranquil beauty and numerous small islands. You’ll relax and enjoy the peaceful evening. Your accommodation will be at Arcadia Cottages, Lake Bunyonyi, or similar.

Day 7: Lake Bunyonyi – Kigali Departure
You’ll enjoy breakfast overlooking the calm waters of Lake Bunyonyi before departing for Kigali, Rwanda. The scenic drive takes 4–5 hours, depending on border crossing time. Upon arrival, your guide will drop you off at your hotel or the airport for your onward flight, marking the end of your unforgettable Uganda adventure.Meals: Breakfast.
