Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Kibale National Park
Your safari begins in Kampala where our professional driver-guide will brief you about the adventure ahead. Set off for a scenic 6–7-hour drive to Kibale National Park, passing through lush tea plantations, crater lakes, and the majestic Rwenzori Mountains. Stop in Fort Portal for lunch before continuing to your lodge for check-in, dinner, and overnight.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking and Bigodi Swamp Walk
After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing before embarking on your chimpanzee trekking experience. Watch these playful primates in their natural habitat as they feed, groom, and swing through the trees. In the afternoon, enjoy a guided walk through Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, a paradise for birdwatchers and nature lovers. Return to the lodge for dinner and rest.

Day 3: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park and Launch Cruise
After breakfast, drive north to Murchison Falls National Park — Uganda’s largest and oldest conservation area. On arrival, check into your lodge, have lunch, and later enjoy a breathtaking boat cruise to the base of the mighty falls. Spot hippos, crocodiles, and elephants along the riverbanks. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Sport Fishing and Evening Game Drive

Day 6: Morning Game Drive and Kazinga Channel Cruise
Begin your day with an early morning game drive across the savannah plains. Look out for lions, buffaloes, elephants, and Uganda kobs as they graze or hunt. After lunch, embark on a relaxing boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel — home to one of Africa’s largest concentrations of hippos and numerous bird species. Return to your lodge for dinner and relaxation.

Day 7: Ishasha Game Drive and Transfer Back to Kampala
After breakfast, drive through the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park — renowned for its tree-climbing lions.
