Along the way, you’ll pass through diverse ecosystems teeming with wildlife, including chimpanzees, over 600 bird species, and big game. You’ll stop for lunch en route and arrive at the park in the late afternoon. After checking in and relaxing, you might have time for a late afternoon or evening game drive, depending on your arrival time.

Day 2: Game Drive & Launch Cruise in the Queen Elizabeth National Park
You’ll start your day early with breakfast, then head out for a thrilling morning game drive in the Kasenyi plains. Keep an eye out for Cape buffaloes, elephants, lions, leopards, and more. After a morning of wildlife spotting, return to your accommodation for some well-deserved rest and lunch.
In the afternoon, you will embark on a scenic 2-hour boat trip along the Kazinga Channel, which links Lakes George and Edward. Expect to see hippos, elephants, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species along the water’s edge.

If you’re lucky enough to see them lounging in the trees, it’s a breathtaking sight. From Ishasha, you’ll drive to the edge of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, where you’ll check into your accommodation and unwind for the evening. The next day’s gorilla trekking adventure awaits.
Optional: For an extra $100, consider adding a chimp tracking experience in Kyambura Gorge before heading to Ishasha. Note that chimp tracking permits need to be secured in advance.
