This wildlife safari is suited for those with limited days but want to get a taste of African wildlife adventure in the pearl of Africa, Uganda. Since it includes rhino tracking, this safari gives you the possibility of spotting all of the African Big Five.
Day By Day Activities
Day-1: Pick up and travel to Ziwa for white rhino tracking – Proceed to Murchison Falls National Park
Early in the morning, our guide will pick you up from your hotel and drive you to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. Once there, you will proceed for an hour’s rhino tracking on foot. From there, head to Masindi town for lunch. After lunch, embark on the transfer to Murchison Falls National Park.
The highlights of this park include the roaring rapids of Murchison Falls and the rolling plains of Uganda’s largest national park, where you will have a chance to view lions, giraffes, hartebeests, buffalos, and elephants. The concentration of hippos and the Nile crocodiles here will surely fascinate you.
Day 2: Morning game drive and afternoon boat trip to the base of the falls
Have breakfast, depart for an early morning game drive across the rolling plains of Uganda’s largest national park and be on the lookout for wildlife and bird species. You will return to the lodge for some rest and lunch. After lunch, you will head out for the boat trip to the base of Murchison Falls, where you will see more animals, including hippos, Nile crocodiles and several waterbirds. If interested, you can hike to the top of the falls. The hike may be strenuous, but the thrill of reaching the top is unforgettable. Return to your accommodation and relax.
Day 3: Drive to the top of falls and transfer back to Entebbe
Have breakfast, depart for an early morning game drive across the rolling plains of Uganda’s largest national park and be on the lookout for wildlife and bird species. You will return to the lodge for some rest and lunch. After lunch, you will head out for the boat trip to the base of Murchison Falls, where you will see more animals, including hippos, Nile crocodiles and several waterbirds. If interested, you can hike to the top of the falls. The hike may be strenuous, but the thrill of reaching the top is unforgettable. Return to your accommodation and relax.
