Day-by-Day 

Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe

You’ll arrive at Entebbe International Airport, marking the beginning of your Uganda adventure. You’ll spend the day relaxing and acclimatizing to your surroundings at your hotel in Entebbe. You’ll take a stroll around the nearby Lake Victoria, enjoying the scenic views and local atmosphere. Your overnight stay will be at your hotel.

Day 2: Transfer to Murchison Falls via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

You’ll depart Entebbe and drive to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a guided rhino tracking tour highlighting the rare southern white rhinos. Get up close and personal with these magnificent species in their natural habitat. You’ll continue to Murchison Falls National Park, the most popular and largest national park in Uganda. After a short game drive where you can expect to see giraffes, elephants, buffaloes, and Uganda kobs, you will proceed to see the ultimate highlight of a safari here, which is a chance to see the powerful Murchison Falls, after which this park was named, found on the River Nile. This spectacle comprises large volumes of water squeezing through a narrow gorge about 7 meters wide before dropping over a 43-meter cliff with an ear-deafening sound as the roaring waters drop in a pool below, forming a rising water-spray and a beautiful rainbow. After this unmatched experience, you’ll check into your lodge and enjoy the scenic views of the surrounding landscape.

Day 3: Game Drives and Boat Trip on the Nile

With an early start, you will embark on an early morning game drive to see the various wildlife as you explore the various habitats. You’ll take in the breathtaking views of the sunrise against the backdrop of the savannah landscape and enjoy the thrill of the wild. Some of the animals you can spot include elephants, Uganda kobs, buffaloes, and giraffes, as well as predators like lions, hyenas, and leopards on a lucky day. You’ll take a refreshing lunch break after which, you will head out on a launch cruise to the bottom of the waterfalls from which vantage point, you’ll witness the full power of the Murchison Falls. You will encounter various wildlife along the river banks, such as the giant Nile crocodiles, large pods of hippos, birds, and elephants, among others. There will also be an option of taking a hike to the top of the waterfalls, where you will get a chance to see the waterfall from another view. Later, you will return to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Transfer to Kibale National Park & Tea Plantation Visit

After an early breakfast, you’ll depart from Murchison Falls and drive to Kibale National Park, known as the primate capital of the world. You’ll visit a local tea plantation to learn about Uganda’s tea production and enjoy a tea tasting experience. You’ll take a tour of the tea factory and learn about the tea-making process. In Kibale, you can expect to see chimpanzees, red-tailed monkeys, and various bird species, including the great blue turaco and the African pygmy kingfisher. You’ll check into your lodge and relax in the afternoon. Your overnight stay will be at your lodge.

Day 5: Chimp Trekking Kibale National Park & Bigodi Wetland Walk

In the morning, you’ll go on a chimpanzee trekking adventure in Kibale National Park, where you’ll observe these intelligent primates in their natural habitat. You’ll get up close and personal with our closest living relatives and learn about their behavior and social structures. In the afternoon, you’ll take a guided walk through the Bigodi Wetland, a locally managed wetland offering opportunities to spot various bird species and learn about local communities. You’ll enjoy the scenic views of the wetland and take in the local culture. Your overnight stay will be at your lodge.

Day 6: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park & Evening Game Drive

You will embark on a journey from Kibale to Queen Elizabeth National Park this morning. The park is famous for its diverse wildlife and stunning landscapes. During your game drives, you can expect to see lions, elephants, buffalo, and Uganda kobs. You’ll enjoy a scenic drive as you head to the park through local communities and plantations. Upon arrival, you will check into your pre-booked lodge and head out for an evening game drive through the park, taking in the breathtaking views of the savannah landscape as the sun sets over the horizon. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at your lodge.

Day 7: Game Drives and Boat Trip on Kazinga Channel

Today, you will start early with an early morning game drive in the Kasenyi area of the park, where you might spot buffaloes, elephants, bushbucks, Uganda kobs, and predators like lions, leopards, and hyenas on a lucky day. You’ll take in the stunning views of the savannah landscape and enjoy the thrill of the wild. In the afternoon, you’ll take a boat trip on the Kazinga Channel, offering opportunities to spot hippos, Nile crocodiles, and various bird species, including the African fish eagle and the pied kingfisher. You’ll enjoy the scenic views of the channel and take in the local wildlife. You can plan with your guide for an evening game drive or return to the lodge for a relaxed evening by the bonfire.

Day 8: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park via Ishasha Sector for Tree-Climbing Lions

This morning, you will start your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, with a stopover at the Ishasha sector to spot tree-climbing lions. These majestic cats are known to lounge in the branches of fig trees, offering a unique sighting experience. Get up close with these incredible animals and learn about their behavior. Upon arrival at Bwindi, you will check in to your lodge and rest in preparation for the mountain gorilla trekking adventure the next day. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at your lodge.

Day 9: Mountain Gorilla Trekking & Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

Today, you’ll set out for one of the most extraordinary experiences on Earth— gorilla trekking. The journey through steep, dense forests is challenging, but every step is worth it when you finally come face-to-face with a family of mountain gorillas. Watching these gentle giants in their natural habitat is a humbling and awe-inspiring experience. After a fulfilling day, you will be transferred to the beautiful Lake Bunyonyi where you can choose to take a swim in the lake or go on a canoe safari to explore any of its 29 islands.

Day 10: Transfer to Entebbe

You’ll spend the morning relaxing at Lake Bunyonyi before departing for Entebbe. You will have a stopover at the Equator point on your way, where you can experience the opportunity to stand in both the northern and southern hemispheres at the same time. You can also do some souvenir shopping at the craft stalls before proceeding to Entebbe and transferring to the airport for your departure flight, marking the end of your unforgettable Uganda wildlife adventure.
