This Uganda gorilla and wildlife safari will take you to Kibale National Park where you will track chimpanzees and many other primates. You will also visit Bwindi penetrable national park for gorilla trekking and have a chance to tour in Queen Elizabeth national park and Lake Mburo enjoying game drives and boat cruise.

This safari also includes a gorilla permit worth 800 USD per person and the final costing.

Day by day activities
Day 1 Transfer to Kibale National Park

Our driver guide will pick you up from the hotel after morning breakfast; you will drive south to the jungle of kibale best known as the primate capital of the world with about 13 species of primates. You will have lunch long the way.

You can choose to relax at the lodge or take a guided walk in the community after a long drive

Day 2 Chimpanzee Trekking and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Have breakfast and head for a briefing about the chimp tracking activity. Chimpanzees are man’s closest cousins though they are one of the most threatened primate species. More primates like black and white colobus monkeys. Many bird species like the yellow spotted nicator little green bul.

The crowned eagle and black bee eater are also found here. After words you will transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park and relax on arrival.

Day 3 Game drive and boat cruise on Kazinga Channel

You will have game drive in the northern part of the park on the Kasenyi track in search of lions, elephants and Buffalos which is the best time for opportunities to see wild cats in action owing to the vast population of Uganda Kobs. After words you will return to the lodge and prepare for the launch trip along the Kazinga channel.

This gives you the opportunity to view wild life up close hippos huffs and spray at mere feet away from the boat and buffalos linger in the shallows. The shores of the channel are also home of an array of birds including pink backed pelicans, kingfishers, saddle billed stork among others

Day 4: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

You will have breakfast and be transferred to Bwindi national park. This journey is so interesting as you get to enjoy the scenic view of the highlands of the great Kigezi region.   You will arrive in the evening and check into the lodge for dinner and overnight stay

Day 5: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

You will have an early morning breakfast and afterwards proceed to the park headquarters to have a briefing about dos and don’ts of gorilla trekking in Bwindi. The ranger will then accompany to the thick rain forest to start your search for the gentle giants. Trekkers are always advised to carry their rain coats and boots because the weather is always unpredictable. There are also potters who always help with the carrying of luggage on behalf of visitors but on a small extra cost. It’s always not easy to predict how long gorilla tracking will take and this depends on the location of some families since some of them are far from park head quarters.

However it always takes 2-7 hours to come into close contact with them and the rangers will always be there to guide you.

Trackers are also advised to be physically fit before going to tracking. After you your trek go back to the lodge.

Day 6 Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park

The journey to Lake Mburo national park is through beautiful landscapes, plantations and farms. Have the visit to cultural museum around Igongo cultural centre have lunch and proceed to the park reaching there in the afternoon and do an evening game drive check into the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 7 Transfer Back to Entebbe airport

After an early breakfast you will go for a safari walk in Lake Mburo national park. You will later proceed to Entebbe with stopover at the famed equator line. Have lunch and then proceed to the airport arriving in the afternoon.
