OVERVIEW OF THE TRIP

Bwindi Impenetrable national park is located in south western Uganda covering an area of

321km sq and over 357 bird species. The park gives you an opportunity to encounter a number of activities like gorilla tracking.

Queen Elizabeth is located in western par t of Uganda covering an area of 1,978km 2  It is located in the western region of Uganda with a number of mammals and over 604 bird species. This park gives you a number of fascinating activities like game drive which gives you an opportunity to encounter a number of wild residents like elephants, antelopes, lions, warthogs among others.

DAY BY DAY ACTIVITIES
DAY 1 TRANSFER FROM ENTEBBE TO BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK

Early in the morning at 8:30am on 14th Nov, the driver guide will pick you from Entebbe where he will be briefing you about the trip. After depart from Entebbe to Bwindi impenetrable national park via Masaka- Mbarara and you will have your first stopover at the equator for refreshment and photography. From there you proceed as you have a great view of the banana plantations arriving in Mbarara town for lunch at Igingo Cultural Centre. From there you continue to Bwindi impenetrable national park arriving in the evening.

DAY 2 GORILLA TRACKING EXPERIENCE

Have an early morning breakfast and then go to the tracking briefing point where you will be welcomed by UWA rangers there after move to the jungle and enjoy the most memorable and rewarding experience of viewing wild residents in their natural habitat. Return back to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 3 NATURE WALKS AND BOAT CRUISE AT LAKE BUNYONYI

Have a morning breakfast and then take a nature walk and expect to see wild residents like duikers, monkeys, wild gorillas among others. Return back to the lodge for lunch and relaxation as you embark on what you have been seeing in the previous activities.

In the afternoon we shall go for boat cruise at lake Bunyonyi which is among the deepest lakes in Africa. Return back to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 4 TRANSFERS FROM BWINDI TO QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK

Have an early morning breakfast check out of the lodge and transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park via Ishasha as you enjoy the great views of savannah grasslands arriving at Engiri safari lodge in the afternoon for relaxation as you prepare for the next day’s activities.

DAY 5 MORNING GAME DRIVE AND AFTERNOON BOAT CRUISE

You will start your day with an early morning breakfast and then get your cameras ready as you set off for a game drive. This activity takes 3- 5 hours and expects to see wild residents like lions, elephants, buffalos, antelopes among others. Return back at the lodge in the afternoon for lunch.

After lunch go for an afternoon boat cruise along Kazinga channel and expect to see aquatic animals like crocodiles, hippos, and other animals like elephants, buffalos as they are taking water along the lake and lots of water birds like the African fish eagle, giant king fisher’s among others then return back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 6 TRANSFERS BACK TO ENTEBBE AIR PORT

Have an early morning breakfast check out of the lodge and transfer back to Entebbe Air port by 5:30pm.
