Itinerary

 

Your guide will pick you up from Kampala at 7:00 AM. Then, head towards Queen Elizabeth National Park, known for its diverse wildlife. The park hosts 95 animal species and over 600 bird species. Stop briefly at the Equator in Makasa Town for a photo opportunity. After lunch, continue to the park. Depending on the time of arrival, you can enjoy an optional evening game drive.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive & Afternoon Boat Cruise on Kazinga Channel

After an early breakfast, go on a morning game drive. Spot wildlife like buffaloes, Uganda kob, elephants, lions, and leopards. Later, relax at the lodge and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel. The cruise provides excellent photo opportunities and a chance to see more wildlife. After the cruise, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Game Drive in Ishasha Sector & Transfer to Bwindi

After breakfast, enjoy a game drive in the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth. Spot tree-climbing lions and other wildlife. Then, transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, known for its gorillas and rich biodiversity. The drive offers scenic views, making it an enjoyable journey.

Day 4: Gorilla Tracking & Batwa Cultural Experience

Start your day with an early breakfast before heading to the park for registration. At 8:00 AM, you’ll receive a briefing from park authorities. Then, trek through the forest in search of the gorillas. Once you find them, enjoy an hour of observation. Afterward, visit the Batwa community to learn about their unique culture and traditions.

Day 5: Return Drive to Kampala or Entebbe

On your final day, have breakfast and begin the drive back to Kampala. Enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way and stop for lunch. You’ll make another stop at the Equator before arriving in Kampala or Entebbe. Your driver will drop you at your accommodation.
