After breakfast, your driver picks you up from Kampala or Entebbe and starts the journey. The drive takes you through beautiful hills, towns, and villages in southwestern Uganda. You will enjoy several stopovers including one for lunch along the way. Later in the evening, you will arrive in Kisoro Town for dinner and rest. Accommodation: Kisoro Tourist Hotel
After breakfast, your guide drives you to the park headquarters by 8:00 am. You meet rangers and begin your trek into the forest. The walk leads you to a gorilla family and allows you to spend one hour with them. Along the way, you will also see monkeys, birds, and forest plants. Start the day with breakfast, then head for golden monkey trekking in the forest. You will also enjoy bird watching during the trek. After lunch, you will visit the Batwa community. They will share their traditional songs, dances, and stories. This cultural tour gives you insight into the life of forest people.
After breakfast, you prepare for a guided hike up Mount Gahinga. The hike offers great views, fresh air, and sightings of birds and animals. After reaching the top, you descend back and return to the lodge for lunch. You will then relax for the rest of the afternoon at the hotel.
On the final day, you check out and begin the drive back to Entebbe. You will have a stop in Mbarara for lunch. In the evening, you reach Kampala or Entebbe. Your driver drops you at the airport or hotel. Accommodation: None
