3 Days Gorilla Trekking Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer from Kampala to Bwindi via the Equator Line
Your driver-guide will pick you up early from your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe for a scenic journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You’ll stop at theUganda Equator Line for memorable photos and a quick geography experience before proceeding westward with lunch en route. Arrive in the evening, check into your lodge, relax, and prepare for your gorilla trek the next day.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Forest
After an early breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing about gorilla trekking rules and allocation of groups (maximum 8 people per gorilla family). The trek can last between 2–6 hours depending on the gorillas’ location. Once you encounter these gentle giants, you’ll spend up to one unforgettable hour observing and photographing them in their natural habitat. Afterward, return to the park offices for your gorilla trekking certificate and relax at your lodge for the evening.
