Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Entebbe/Kampala – Murchison Falls – Hiking the Falls

Pick up from Entebbe International Airport or your Kampala hotel and drive to Murchison Falls National Park. En-route, stop in Masindi for refreshments and lunch. Upon arrival, hike to the top of Murchison Falls to witness the Victoria Nile squeeze through a narrow gorge before dropping 43 meters, creating a breathtaking spectacle. Check-in at your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Game Drives & Nile River Boat Cruise

Start your day with an early morning game drive to spot predators and other wildlife such as lions, leopards, buffaloes, elephants, giraffes, Uganda kobs, and more. Return to the lodge for lunch, then enjoy a 3-hour afternoon boat cruise on the Nile, where you can see hippos, Nile crocodiles, and abundant birdlife. End the day with an evening game drive before dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 3: Chimpanzee Trekking – Return to Entebbe/Kampala

After breakfast, check out and drive to Budongo Forest Reserve for chimpanzee trekking. Spend up to an hour observing these fascinating primates in their natural habitat, alongside other wildlife such as olive baboons, black-and-white colobus, and red-tailed monkeys. After trekking, return to Masindi for refreshments and lunch before heading back to Entebbe or Kampala, marking the end of your safari.
