A 2 Days Queen Elizabeth National Park Safari offers an exciting short wildlife adventure in one of Uganda’s most beautiful and diverse parks. Located in western Uganda, Queen Elizabeth National Park spans 1,978 sq. km and is home to over 95 mammal species and more than 600 bird species — the highest bird count of any park in East Africa.
During this short yet rewarding safari, you will enjoy an afternoon boat cruise on the famous Kazinga Channel, where hippos, crocodiles, and elephants gather along the banks, and a morning game drive through the Kasenyi plains to spot lions, buffaloes, and antelopes.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer from Kampala – Stop at the Equator – Afternoon Boat Cruise
Your safari begins early morning with pick-up from your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe by your safari guide. You’ll drive southwest through Uganda’s scenic countryside, stopping at the Equator line in Kayabwe for photographs and a brief experiment demonstration.
Continue to Queen Elizabeth National Park, arriving in time for an afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel (3:00 pm). The 40 km channel connects Lake Edward and Lake George, offering sightings of hippos, crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes, and numerous bird species.
After the cruise, take a short game drive en route to your lodge for dinner and overnight rest.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive – Return to Kampala
After an early breakfast, head for a morning game drive in the Kasenyi plains, a prime wildlife viewing area known forlions, elephants, buffaloes, topis, warthogs, and many bird species.
Spend about 4 hours exploring before beginning your journey back to Kampala. Lunch is served en route, and you will arrive in the evening for drop-off at your hotel or airport.
