Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival in Uganda & Transfer to Kampala

Arrive at Entebbe International Airport, meet your safari guide, and transfer to your hotel in Kampala. Depending on your arrival time, explore the city by car or boda-boda, visiting local markets and cultural landmarks. Overnight stay in Kampala.

Day 2 – Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary & Drive to Murchison Falls

Depart early for Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, home to Uganda’s reintroduced white rhinos. Enjoy a guided on-foot rhino tracking experience — a rare opportunity for close-up photos. Later, continue to Murchison Falls National Park and check in at your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3 – Game Drive & Nile Boat Cruise at Murchison Falls

Set out at sunrise for a game drive across the northern savannah plains. Spot lions, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, and more. After lunch, enjoy a boat cruise on the River Nile to the base of Murchison Falls, followed by a short hike to the top of the falls for breathtaking views.

Day 4 – Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park

After breakfast, drive south through scenic countryside and rolling hills to Kibale Forest National Park, known as the primate capital of East Africa. Arrive in the evening and relax at your lodge.

Day 5 – Chimpanzee Trekking & Bigodi Swamp Walk

Start the day with an exciting chimpanzee trekking adventure in Kibale Forest. Observe these intelligent primates up close and learn about their behavior from expert guides. In the afternoon, explore Bigodi Swamp, visit local homes, learn basket weaving, and experience traditional coffee making. Later, transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park for overnight stay.

Day 6 – Queen Elizabeth Game Drive & Kazinga Channel Cruise

Enjoy an early morning game drive in Kasenyi plains to spot lions, elephants, leopards, hyenas, and herds of buffaloes. After lunch, head for a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, famous for its concentration of hippos, crocodiles, and birds. Return to the lodge for dinner.

Day 7 – Drive to Bwindi via Ishasha Sector

After breakfast, travel through the Ishasha Sector known for its tree-climbing lions. Enjoy game viewing along the way before continuing to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home of the endangered mountain gorillas. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 8 – Gorilla Trekking & Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

After an early breakfast, report for a briefing at Bwindi headquarters before heading into the forest for your gorilla trekking adventure. Spend a magical hour with a gorilla family, observing them in their natural habitat. Later, transfer to Lake Bunyonyi, one of Africa’s most beautiful lakes.

Day 9 – Explore Lake Bunyonyi Islands

After a relaxed breakfast, enjoy a boat cruise around Lake Bunyonyi, visiting several islands and learning about the local legends — including the story of the Punishment Island. Interact with local communities and soak in the serene atmosphere. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 10 – Return to Kampala & Departure

After breakfast, begin your drive back to Kampala. Stop at the Equator for photos and souvenir shopping before continuing to Entebbe Airport for your flight home.
