DAY BY DAY ACTIVITIES

Day 1: Transfer from Entebbe to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Your safari begins with a morning pickup in Entebbe. After a short briefing, drive southwest through the beautiful Ugandan countryside. Stop at the Equator for photos and continue to Mbarara for lunch at Igongo Cultural Centre. You’ll arrive at Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in the evening and check in to your lodge for dinner and rest.


Day 2: Gorilla Trekking Experience in Bwindi

After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing. Then, enter the forest for a once-in-a-lifetime gorilla trekking experience. Led by expert rangers, track one of the habituated gorilla families and spend an awe-inspiring hour observing them up close. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Tip: Gorilla trekking can take 2–7 hours. Pack rain gear and wear sturdy hiking shoes!


Day 3: Nature Walk & Boat Cruise on Lake Bunyonyi

Start your day with a guided nature walk, where you may spot primates like monkeys and small antelopes. After lunch, transfer to Lake Bunyonyi, known for its dramatic terraced hills and peaceful scenery. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise to explore the lake’s many islands. Overnight at a lodge by the lake.


Day 4: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast, depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park via the Ishasha sector, famous for its rare tree-climbing lions. Enjoy scenic views of rolling savannahs as you arrive at your lodge in the park. Check in and relax as you prepare for game viewing the next day.


Day 5: Morning Game Drive & Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise

Begin the day with a morning game drive in the Kasenyi plains. Look out for lions, elephants, buffalo, antelopes, and more. After lunch, embark on a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, where you’ll see hippos, crocodiles, elephants at the water’s edge, and an incredible variety of birdlife. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.


Day 6: Return to Entebbe

Enjoy breakfast and check out. Begin your journey back to Entebbe with a stop at the Equator Line for lunch and souvenir shopping. You’ll arrive at Entebbe International Airport by late afternoon — in time for your evening flight.
