Day 1: Arrival in the Pearl of Africa
Welcome to Uganda! Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, your friendly Muganzi Safaris guide will greet you. We will transfer you to your hotel in either Kampala or Entebbe for a relaxing evening. Here, you will be briefed on the exciting adventure that awaits you over the next six days.

Day 2: Rhino Trekking & The Mighty Nile
After an early breakfast, we depart for Murchison Falls National Park. En route, we stop at the renowned Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a unforgettable guided trek on foot to track the endangered white rhino. This is your chance to see these prehistoric-looking creatures up close and contribute to their conservation.
After lunch, we proceed into the park, heading straight to the Top of the Murchison Falls. Witness the breathtaking spectacle as the world's longest river, the Nile, is forced through a narrow 7-meter gorge and plunges 43 meters with a thunderous roar. We then continue to our lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Game Drives & The Nile Boat Cruise
An early start takes us across the Nile by ferry for a morning game drive in the northern sector of the park. This area is known for its high concentrations of wildlife, including elephants, Rothschild's giraffes, lions, buffalo, and various antelope. With luck, we might even spot a leopard.
In the afternoon, we embark on a classic boat cruise on the Victoria Nile towards the Falls. This serene journey is a wildlife bonanza, offering close-up views of large pods of hippos, massive Nile crocodiles, and elephants bathing on the riverbanks. Birders will be delighted by the abundance of species, including the rare Shoebill stork. The cruise culminates at the base of the falls, where you can disembark for a challenging but rewarding hike to the top to meet your driver.

Day 4: To the Lush Highlands of Fort Portal
After a leisurely breakfast, we bid farewell to Murchison Falls and journey south towards the beautiful, tea-growing region of Fort Portal. The drive is incredibly scenic, winding through rural villages and rolling hills with the fabled "Mountains of the Moon," the Rwenzori range, in the distance. We arrive at our lodge in the afternoon, where you can relax and enjoy the cooler climate and stunning views.

Day 5: Chimpanzee Trekking & Bigodi Wetland Walk
Today offers a different primate experience! After breakfast, we report to the Kanyanchu Tourist Centre for a briefing before embarking on our Chimpanzee Trekking adventure in Kibale Forest National Park. As you walk through the dense, tropical forest, your guide will help you spot not only chimpanzees but also other primates like red colobus and grey-cheeked mangabeys.
In the afternoon, we explore the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary on a guided nature walk. This community-run project is a bird-watcher's paradise and a great place to see other wildlife and learn about local conservation efforts. You may also visit a local tea plantation to learn about this important regional crop.

Day 6: Scenic Crater Lakes & Return to Kampala
Enjoy one last beautiful morning in western Uganda. We take a short tour of the stunning crater lake region, a landscape dotted with deep blue lakes formed by volcanic activity. We may also stop at the "Top of the World" viewpoint for a final, panoramic vista of the Rwenzori Mountains. Afterward, we begin our journey back to Kampala/Entebbe, stopping for lunch en route. We will drop you off at your hotel or at Entebbe International Airport for your evening flight, marking the end of your incredible safari.
