Detailed 14-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in the Pearl of Africa
Welcome to Uganda! Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, your Muganzi Safaris guide will greet you. We’ll transfer you to your hotel in Kampala to rest and acclimate, ready for the adventure that begins tomorrow.

Day 2: North to the Wild Murchison Falls
After breakfast, we journey north. Our first stop is the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for an unforgettable guided trek to see endangered white rhinos. After lunch, we continue to Murchison Falls National Park, settling into our lodge as the sun sets over the savanna.

Day 3: Game Drives & The Mighty Nile
An early game drive reveals the park’s treasures: elephants, giraffes, lions, and vast herds of antelope. In the afternoon, we embark on a classic boat cruise to the base of Murchison Falls, where the Nile explodes through a narrow gorge. Hippos, crocodiles, and bathing elephants line the riverbanks.

Day 4: To the Primate Forests of Kibale
We bid farewell to Murchison and journey southwest. The landscape transforms into the lush, rolling hills of the Albertine Rift. We arrive in Fort Portal, the gateway to Kibale Forest, in the late afternoon.

Day 5: Chimpanzee Trekking & Bigodi Wetland
Today, we enter Kibale Forest National Park for our chimpanzee trekking adventure. Following their energetic calls, we’ll find a habituated community and spend an hour in awe of our closest relatives. Later, a guided walk through the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary offers more primate and bird sightings.

Day 6: The Geysers of Semliki National Park
We take a day trip to the remote Semliki National Park. A guided game drive offers a chance to see forest elephants and buffalo. The highlight is a visit to the otherworldly Sempaya Hot Springs, where geysers of boiling water shoot from the earth.

Day 7: Into the Medley of Wonders – Queen Elizabeth NP
A scenic drive brings us to the diverse Queen Elizabeth National Park. After settling in, we embark on an evening game drive across the Kasenyi Plains, known for its lion prides and large Uganda kob populations.
We start early with a morning game drive, searching for cats and elephants. In the afternoon, we enjoy a spectacular boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel. This waterway is a magnet for wildlife, offering unparalleled close-up views of hippos, buffalo, and abundant birdlife.
Today, we travel to the legendaryBwindi Impenetrable National Park. The journey is spectacular, winding through highland villages and mist-covered hills. We arrive at our lodge on the forest edge, filled with anticipation for tomorrow’s trek.

Day 10: The Apex Experience – Gorilla Trekking
This is the day you’ve been waiting for. After a briefing, we begin our gorilla trek. Hiking through the dense, ancient forest is an adventure in itself. The moment you meet a mountain gorilla family is profound and humbling—a full hour of observation that will stay with you forever. In the afternoon, you can relax or take a cultural village walk.

Day 11: Serenity on Lake Bunyonyi
After the trek’s intensity, we journey to the tranquil Lake Bunyonyi, “the place of little birds.” This stunning, terraced lake is the perfect place to unwind. We’ll take a canoe ride to explore its many islands before a peaceful evening at our lakeside lodge.

Day 12: A Savanna Finale in Lake Mburo
We drive to Lake Mburo National Park, a charming park with rolling hills and lakes. An afternoon boat cruise offers excellent bird watching and a chance to see hippos and crocodiles up close.

Day 13: A Walking Safari & Return to Civilization
