OVERVIEW
This one-day Rwanda mountain gorilla tour is the most popular tour for people who are in a meeting in Rwanda and don’t have enough time to make many day trips. This one will take you to visit the most attractive national park named Volcanoes National Park and is made of five dormant Volcanoes and is located in the northwest of Rwanda it has many more beautiful tourist activities such as golden monkeys, hiking volcanoes, caves, bird watching and many more beautiful activities.
DAY 1: Gorillas Trekking from Kigali
The day begins with an early start. Your driver-guide will pick you up from your hotel or the Kigali International Airport (KGL) at approximately 4:00 AM to 4:30 AM. This early start is crucial to allow ample time for the journey to Volcanoes National Park and the subsequent gorilla trekking activity.
The journey offers scenic views of the Rwandan countryside, including the rolling hills and landscapes that have earned Rwanda the nickname “The Land of a Thousand Hills.”
Upon arrival at the Volcanoes National Park headquarters in Kinigi, you will be briefed by park officials about the rules and regulations of gorilla trekking
you will also be assigned to a gorilla family to track, with groups typically consisting of a maximum of eight people. The trek’s duration can vary from 1 to 8 hours, depending on the location of the gorilla family. After the hour with the gorillas, you will trek back out of the forest. Lunch will be provided, and transfer back to Kigali.
