Day 1 Fly to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
You’ll fly to the Kihihi Airstrip, where you will be able to see the stunning country of Uganda. It will take around forty minutes for our team to transport you to the southwest’s Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Upon arrival, lunch will be served at Mahogany Springs Lodge. You will unwind at the lodge later in the day as you wait for the thrilling action of the following day.
Day 2 Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and Community Walk
At 6:30 am, you will enjoy an early breakfast. Thereafter, you will go to the park headquarters with a packed lunch to join other trackers for a briefing on the guidelines for gorilla trekking. To locate the gorillas, you and your guides will go through dense vegetation and creepers, which might take one to eight hours. Tourists can visit the very densely wooded area, which is crisscrossed by many animal pathways. After you see the gorillas, you will remain with them for a while. After spending some time unwinding at the lodge, you may take a stroll around the village.
Day 3 Transfer to Kibale National Park and Bigodi Swamp walk
You will be taken to Kibale Forest National Park with lunch en route at Fort Portal neighborhood close to the park after an early breakfast. Along the trip through Fort Portal, you may make stops in the remote countryside where you can see tea plantations.
The stunning volcanic scenery you are exposed to on your trip from the town to the park is framed by the fabled Rwenzori Mountains, which cast a shadow over Fort Portal.
You will check into your lodge to unwind when you arrive. You will be taken to the Bigodi Wetlands, which are located on the eastern border of the forest, later in the day. You will take a short stroll there to see a variety of animals, such as birds and many monkey types.
Day 4 Chimpanzee Trekking and Transfer to Entebbe
After an early breakfast, you will head to the park offices to meet the ranger guides for a pre-trek briefing before trekking through a forest community of chimpanzees. Up to three big chimpanzee tribes are trained for hiking.
Since skilled trackers know each chimp community’s region, you can find them easily. Guides will announce these sites. Walking through the forest, you’ll see many creatures. You may also see red colobus, L’Hoest’s, grey-cheeked, and vervet monkeys.
You’ll relax at your accommodation before being transferred to Kasese airfield for your journey back to Entebbe.
